While going to a one-time self-defense course is great to start learning about personal protection, practice is key! This course teaches fun drills you can practice at home or with friends to get your body used to the moves so you are more likely to have better reactions if you ever need. It’s also a great way to practice self-defense skills and an awesome fitness workout!
Having retired from being a professional athlete, Samery decided to use her extensive experience in Martial Arts to dedicate herself to empowering women through teaching basic awareness & self-defense skills so women can feel secure and confident.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone wanting to start learning Self-Defense basics like how to strike, target areas, basic self-defense moves for common attacks, and general information about awareness & situation avoidance.
How often do I need to practice?
The course is designed for 6-weeks of twice-a-week practice. However, the more your practice- the more your body gets used to the moves until they become second-nature.
What do I need to practice?
You don’t need any equipment to do the drills in this course! You will need a friend or a partner to help you practice the self-defense moves. I also have a list of great practice equipment if you want to be sure to develop power and make it a bit more realistic!
